Soap

Micah's been testing the limits lately = picking up things he knows he shouldn't (like plugs) and smiling at us while he sllloooowwwlllly brings it to his mouth. This morning I was changing in our closet and Mr. Micah picked up his bath soap resting on the edge of the tub. I look and suddenly this little boy walks past the closet door, smiling w/ the soap posed to go in his mouth. Andrew and I are trying not to give Micah a reaction when he does something bad since he obviously loves our response (we're TRYING to go after the motto, 'reinforce only the positive'). So, I don't react and Micah makes another pass at the closet door, smiling w/ the soap about to be eaten - he literally does this about 2 more times - walking by the closet door looking all cheeky when he decides he's really going to eat the soap (maybe I'll react then). The soap goes in and the smile changes into a look of disgust w/ an, 'eeeeuucckkk' response. :) Walking into the closet, he hands me the soap and we try to get the soap in his mouth off his tongue. :)
