Zoo trip

These birds are actually native to Perth - we see flocks of them flying around. They're beautiful with their bright colors! We also see white parrots flying around in the wild!

Micah got oddly shy when we went to take his picture near the kangaroo - wouldn't look at the camera! Very odd for Mr. Micah! :) (side note: every mom here in Australia has a Maclaren stroller so at least we fit in, in that regard....whew!) :)

We live right across the street from the Perth Zoo. Micah is up at 6:30 a.m. every morning, without fail (unless he's sick, then we maybe get to sleep til 7), and shortly after the animals of the zoo wake up. The noises are incredible - we have to get it on video some day. We invested into a yearly pass and took our first trip this past weekend. We made it through the Australian bush walk and here are some of the animals native to Australia. Unfortunately we haven't seen any of these animals out in the wild but hope to once we travel out of the city.....:)
